Chef Alfronso Pescarino of La Piccola Fontana in El San Juan Hotel & Casino in Isla Verde is an expert in classic Italian cuisine.

Chef Pescarino is familiar with the preparation of risottos since the early age of 10 because he was always amazed to see his mother cooking in the kitchen for him and his siblings but he had no idea that one day he was going to become a chef.

When he decided to study the culinary arts profession at the age of 14, Chef Pescarino did it near Milan at San Pellegrin Terme. He worked in a small hotel in Toscana, returned to school and went back to work at the first restaurant where he learned even more.
